This recipe combines the heartiness of oats, the sweetness of baked apples, and the power of protein into a mouthwatering breakfast treat. It's a breeze to make and will keep you energised all morning long.
Ingredients:
- Balance overnight oats (1 serving)
- 1 egg
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 cup oat milk (or milk of choice)
- 1 tbsp apple sauce
- 1 Tbsp maple syrup
- 1/4 cup chopped apple
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- 1/8 tsp all spice
Recipe:
- Oil and oven safe bowl/dish.
- In a pyrex jug add one serving of balance oats, 1 egg, 1/2 tsp baking soda, apple sauce, maple, cinnamon, all spice and milk. Mix.
- Fold in chopped apples. Pour into oven safe bowl/dish.
- Place in the oven and bake at 180 degrees celsius for 15-20 minutes or until golden on top. Alternatively you can place in air fryer at 180 degrees celsius for 8-10 minutes.
- Take out and top with coconut/natural yogurt enjoy while warm.
